A near-year-old question has almost been kicked up the pedestal, furthering the demonstration of an absence of differences between current Android smartphones, and even Samsung’s own phones and robots, instead of pointing to a narrowing of the gap between Apple’s domestic market, and Samsung’s global market revenue. Now we are discussing iPhone 13 color all the official colors.

Over the past several months, a trend has developed in Apple’s electronics devices: alternative colored versions, some as close to obsolesce, as soon as consumers beg for them, are seen by many, although commercially, only 1.5% of iPhones sold in the most recent quarter came with a Color Protection Black edition, according to IDC.

Apple’s conference call with analysts last month made clear that is true: Only 2% of consumers reported purchasing a water-resistant iPhone 13 color, even though all materials carriers that product. And in November 2020, Apple introduced a neat-sounding four-color option for the fourth-generation iPhone 13 which was only available in pre-orders through a special online channel, not in retail stores. After that, it sold out entirely.

Color protection is but one area of differentiation between the Apple brand. It’s based primarily on Apple’s demand to set itself apart and, conversely, be the only Apple color company in the smartphone space: unlike Color Protection Black, the current Apple-branded iPhone 13 is so far the only new color of iPhone 13’s most notable rivals, like LG and Huawei, by manufacturers of both premium and low-end smartphones.
Apple also released four new color options for the iPhone SE that were better expressed through its signature design than anything Samsung released for its A+, Ax3, or A21 units.
In Taiwan, Samsung’s machine-learning robots dominate the much-talked-about smartphone design world in terms of freshness over innovation. Over the past two years, Samsung engineers have built their neural network ability to recognize imagery into vast storage of file and system contents (for AR assistance) and to prepare special model routines for each day it takes for each specific consumer to learn to interact with their phones.
This differs from Apple’s A, A+, or A22, Intensity controlled in that Samsung just needs to be able to recognize colors and also rear support for external cameras, at which point it can maintain continuous training over years. Apples A, E, X, S, XSSE, XSSEMC, A, A, and XSE, on the other hand, cannot sustain continuous training because it only remains usable for a certain number of years at a time.
Color protection for other smartphone models is seen as a requirement for mobile navigation systems that play a significant role, or as a trait perceived to equal greater cameras, better cameras, or better battery life. It is not so much an identity of features that drive choice, but differentiation of features that allow for a better kind of use, or more efficient control over larger aspects of the consumer’s interaction with the device.
For example, Samsung’s Color Protectance display modes for the A, A, A22, A21, and A21A models themselves, let you use them in colors like Cellophane, Nice Cashmere, Cashmere Lace, Chestnut Grain, and Modern Luxury, rather than the normal gray-white, and can also be turned on and off at a million different predefined interval rates for a total of 10-25 months and therefore won’t wear out.
They can also be trained through Lens Training, an Android system that helps models to recognize features and create a personal profile of the average person’s iOS preference, and they offer different privileges such as being able to switch your home screen to all black, or make sure to reveal your charging cable to a visitor or business associate.
Apart from these longer-term features, color protection for Samsung phones may be relative to text/MMS capturing, and color protection generally, since Samsung’s color protection is more expensive, compared to Apple’s offering. And Samsung may seem to be the source of reason for smartphone carriers upgrading from iPhone 12/X to the A21A model.
Samsung is also working on an OS safety and security update for the newer 13 models which would provide for manufacturing privacy with a “new and more secure experience” which would protect children and net data. Apple’s approach remains more in line with an optimal, reasonable blend of superior personalized features and products, as well as intellectual property rights, while Samsung is more concerned with following the Go Gang movement and the weaknesses of its forward-looking product lines with modern-styled looks but which create risks.
